Resettlement Action Planning (RAP) for a Limestone Mine Concession in Matutuine District

SWMOZ was indicated in March 2013 by GS Cimentos, SA to prepare a full RAP icluding a Scoping Report, full Resettlement Action Planning (RAP) report and the implementation of the RAP.

Once the census and social survey was approved by the client, Scott Wilson prepared the full report including the  public consultations report.

The full RAP was comprised of:

  • Compilation and co-ordination of local RAP team
  • Scoping for RAP, including gathering and review of all existing data, site visit, initial consultation and meetings with government authorities
  • Co-ordination of technical baseline studies socio-economic
  • Assessment of potential social impacts
  • Framework Resettlement Action Plan (RAP)
  • Framework Social Management Plan (SMP)
